1. Introduction

Friction Log Systems ("The System", "We") provides a research and content synthesis application. We are committed to protecting your data privacy and security. This policy outlines our protocols for data collection, usage, and storage.

2. Data Collection Protocols

We collect the following data types:

• Identity Data: Google OAuth credentials (email, name, avatar).
• Operational Data: User inputs (search topics, communities) and generated reports.
• Usage Telemetry: Anonymous metrics on system performance and error rates.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy

The System's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We only use your Google account for Authentication via Supabase. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, or other private Google data.
• We do not share your Google user data with third-party AI models. The AI models (Gemini) process your inputs (topics), not your personal identity data.

4. Data Retention

User accounts and generated reports are stored on secure, encrypted database shards (Supabase). You may request full data deletion at any time by contacting legal@frictionlog.xyz.
